Carpenter File 13: Ice Hockey in Austria!!!!

I went to my first hockey game ever on Tuesday night!! It was SO much fun! I am definitely going to try to go see the Canes when I get back! It was the Salzburg Red Bulls vs. the Vienna Capitols (really original name ehhh?) The Salzburg Red Bulls are ranked number one and they slaughtered The Capitols 2-0! I went with Kelsey and Stacey. They are both big hockey fans and so it was a blast. There weren’t any fights, so I was kind of disappointed about that but there was a lot of action. The Red Bull Fanatics were a really crazy bunch of college age fans. They had flags and coordinated cheers. It was hilarious to watch them. Apparently heckling referees is a universal occurrence. I hope we get to go to another game while we’re here! GO RED BULLS!!!
