Carpenter File 18: Life Current...
Well I feel the need to sincerely apologize for my not blogging faithfully for the past weeks. I want to keep up my communication lines but I've been ridiculously busy with school work and traveling way to much :-) I am not going to have much time in the next three weeks to blog either because the semester is finishing up and life is getting even more hectic! If that's possible! I guess I'll go with what my studies director said when we got here. "Welcome to Austria...You can sleep when you get home!" Needless to say I've been packing in all possible adventure in the past weeks. Since returning home from my two week trip I have been to Dublin, Edinburgh, and Vienna! I must say that I absolutely LOVE Ireland and Scotland! They are the most incredible places! I think I loved them the most because I fit in really well there because of my hair. No less than 10 people stopped to ask me for directions in Dublin! The great part was when I knew where they wanted to go and put on an accent to give them directions! It was so much fun! Vienna was fantastic too! My favorite part by far was seeing La Boheme at the Vienna Opera House! It was the most beautiful and breathtaking performance I have ever seen! So this weekend I am actually sticking around Salzburg! I abosolutely can't wait till next weekend because I am going back to Vienna to meet up with Sarah Santiago!!! I can't wait to see someone from home! We're going to have a blast catching up and running around Salzburg!
So that's a basic update for me, really fast but I hope its better than nothing!
Today we are having Thanksgiving dinner! Its definetly not going to be the same without family. But its going to be much better than not having it at all. We have a huge Turkey and lots of cranberrys! It is really funny because the college orders cranberry's from Canada for each Thanksgiving because the ones in Europe are not the same! I love Salzburg college because the little things like that matter to them! Anyway, I hope everyone reading this has a fantastic Thanksgiving!!! Watch Charlie Brown for me!
